WoWHub Data Deletion Request
Last updated: 2026-05-10
WoWHub stores a small amount of data only on your Android device — there is no backend, no server, no cloud account, and nothing to delete on our side.
What data exists
WoWHub stores two pieces of data, both on your device only:
- The region, realm, and character name you typed during onboarding (~50 bytes in Android DataStore).
- A cached character snapshot — item level, Mythic+ rating, raid progression — fetched from the public Raider.io API (a few KB per character in an Android Room database).
See the privacy policy for the full data-handling overview.
How to delete your data right now
Uninstall the app. Uninstalling WoWHub removes all of its app-private storage from /data/data/com.wowhub on your device, including DataStore and the Room database. Reinstalling the app starts you back at first-launch onboarding with an empty cache.
How to delete in-app (planned)
From version 1.0.0 onward (planned for the final pre-production phase), Settings will include a “Clear local data” action that performs the same wipe without requiring uninstall.
Email request
If you have a privacy concern or want to request that data be deleted on our side, email mizarsgdev@gmail.com with subject WoWHub deletion request. We will reply confirming that — because WoWHub stores nothing on any server we control — there is nothing to delete on our side, and that uninstalling the app is the deletion mechanism for on-device data.
